A Little Bit About Me
Certainly I love to laugh :)

I am a fun loving person yet serious about the things that are important to me, that is my family and friends,and I'm very much into my current affairs and international development issues. I am passionate about human rights.

I do a lot voluntary work in my spare time, I endeavour to support both the local and international community, this is something that I try to uphold as a value: where we help one another and not just ourselves. I am a citizen of the globe :)

I am a pretty witty person,who will give as good (better) as she gets. Feisty by nature but it's all just playfulness. I am quite a foodie since I love cuisine from all over the world, especially Thai. 'We all need a bit of spice in our life' is my motto, however cliché. I do like to cook but I can be lazy about it too, I find I make more effort for when it comes to others but I confess I love it when a man can cook and likes spicy food too.

I do love music...I can't live without it nor can I live without a little jiggy even if only in my living room!!! These days I only get to go to the occasional gig but once upon a time an avid festival and gig-goer. I still go to interesting seminars and talks, etc. I continuously aim to better my knowledge regarding worldly issues and centre much of my reading around this. Anything to do with history, politics, anthropology. I do have campaigns that are very close to my heart and am committed in my support to. Yep, a free Palestine for sure and have spent a month doing voluntary work in West Bank in 2011. I am a peaceful human rights activist. It's not an issues will be quiet over!! :)

I love to travel and am very inquisitive about other cultures and way of living and like to experience a bit of this myself. I am from a mixed heritage and even generally my family is very mixed both ethnic and even religion wise. This doesn't matter to me as I love them all the same, I know who I am and that is all that should matter. It's one big reason why open mindedness is important. I am a spiritual person and normally pray salat. I seek the path of a sufi. I am a bit of a hippy at heart ;)
